Kimberly has more than 20 years of experience in high-technology marketing. Before founding ShapeTechnology, she worked as a corporate insider for Hortonworks, Microsoft, Novell and ShoreTel, and represented numerous other technology clients while working at the marketing firm Hill & Knowlton.
Acting as fractional CMO, Kimberly has provided end-to-end marketing strategy and execution for many technology startups, which has led to successful fundraising, M&As and IPOs. She has launched hundreds of companies and products/services worldwide, across multiple technologies and distribution channels. She has in-depth experience in (not limited to) artificial intelligence (data science, deep learning, machine learning), cloud and edge computing, enterprise software, IoT, SaaS and telecommunications. Varied experiences in the AdTech/MarTech, EdTech, Healthcare and IT market segments.
Positioning makes a lasting impression. Kimberly’s positioning workshops have helped executives create a unique impression in their customers’ minds to associate something specific and desirable with their brand that is distinct from the rest of the marketplace. This has increased customer traction and opened new markets for many early-stage companies.
Knowing that every market and technology is different, Kimberly’s experience in working with market influencers in a highly customized fashion (no cookie-cutter approach here) has helped drive market awareness, build customer credibility and increase revenue for ShapeTechnology clients.
